St. Paul Youth Group
“Let no one despise your youth, but be and example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity.” – 1 Timothy 4:12
The foundation of all of our Youth activities is the cultivation and education of our children, so that they may become active Adult members of the Body of Christ.
Our Youth Group is a group of children, teenagers, and young adults ranging from five to early twenties, who gather for various events each month, focusing on community and volunteer outreach, fellowship and spiritual development and growing together spiritually. It is a must that our Youth in the Orthodox Faith experience the work of involvement in community. We have been blessed to participate in many programs like Ronald McDonald House Charities, Project Mexico, and Feeding the Homeless.
But it is not all work. Fellowship is something we focus on heavily in our group. This means Pan-Orthodox Youth Lenten Retreats, UNLV Basketball and Football game outings, 51s Baseball games, Cowabunga Bay Waterpark outing, and much more. It has been a wonderful way for our young people to get to know their parish, clergy, mentors, and laity in the Church.
We are still growing and learning and are always welcoming of new friends to join our Youth Group. We invite you to contact Fr. John, Fr. Stephen, or Amy McCauly for more information. We would love it if you could join our next outing!
